Welcome to Express Scandinavia

Express Scandinavia was founded on the 1st of December 2004 as a 100% daughter company to Express-Interfracht GmbH in Vienna, Austria.

Our mother company belongs to the company group Speditionsholding AG which is in 100% ownership of Rail Cargo Austria, the cargo section of the Austrian state railways.

Speditionsholding AG is a global forwarding group with presence all over Europe through appr. 60 daughter companys, about 1200 employees and a yearly turnover of appr. 900 MEUR.

Express Scandinavia offers a wide range of logistic solutions to and from the Scandinavian countries:

• Conventional rail, track-track or combined truck/rail via transloading terminals.
• Intermodal traffic with swaps or containers.
• Truck transports with curtain, box, reefer or special trailers.
• Shortsea crossdocking from SP, F, B, NL & D to Sweden.
• Project transports.

Cooperation inside the infrastructure of the total company group also gives possibilities to create paneuropean logistic and cross-trade traffics.
